‘Where Spiders Fear To Spin’ is Now Available from Books & Boos Press

Call for Artists

 

Swift Waters Artisans Co-operative is looking for unique new artists and will be hosting an open house on Saturday, August 9th from 12-4 p.m. for anyone that might be interested in joining.  Swift Waters, a member owned retail gallery, is located at 866 Main Street, Willimantic.  If  you’re interested in joining or would like to find out more, be sure to drop by.  The first step in becoming a member is having your work juried so be sure to bring along your portfolio, pictures and/or samples of your work.   All art forms are welcome but must be made by the artist.  We are especially looking for quilters, candle makers, wood workers, dried flower arrangers and leather crafts people.  The strength of our co-op is in its diversity of art forms therefore we may love your work, but it may not fit our needs at this time.  If that is the case your information will be kept on file for future consideration. Swift Waters also has studios for rent with both electricity and WiFi included in the price.
